Our Senator Community has been asked to help with donations for the people affected by the recent hurricane that devastated the Applachian Mountains region of North Carolina.
See here for details on how you can help: https://www.westsenators.org/article/1806420
Due to power outages and poor road conditions, all Washington-Nile Local Schools will be operating on a TWO-HOUR DELAY for Monday, September 30, 2024.
PWES parents and guardians:
Our school has suffered a tragic loss this weekend, and we understand that our community is hurting. We will have counselors available at the elementary building Tuesday and Wednesday for any student, teacher or community member who may need their services. Teachers will NOT be discussing the situation with their class-but will refer children to counselors as needed. The Senator family always comes together in times like these.. we need each other.
The district will be collecting donations for the family if you would like to contribute.
