The OAGC and South Central Ohio ESC Summer Enrichment Scholarship packets are available to pick up in the HS office and with Mrs.Copley in the library. Deadline to apply for the OAGC scholarships is February 15, 2020, the ESC Scholarships, March 13, 2020.

The home girls basketball game originally scheduled for 12/9/19 has been moved to 12/10/19.
West Swim team shirts for the 2019-2020 Season are now on sale. We will be taking orders through Friday 12/6/19. Please make checks payable to the PWHS Swim Team. Orders can be sent with a member of the swim team or dropped off at PWHS, attention Mr. Nichols.
PWHS picture retakes will be Dec. 2 starting at 8:15 a.m.

Gifted students and their parents who are interested in summer scholarships:
An informational meeting for parents, teachers and/or guidance counselors will be held at the ESC on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. You must pre-register (by Nov. 15) to attend the meeting.
Wright State University is offering a fee waiver code to any student wanting to apply in November. Student's can use the code APPLYNOW2019 to waive the application fee until December 1!

The PWHS Swim Team will have their mandatory OHSAA Pre-Season meeting on Wednesday, 11/13/19, at 6:30pm. The meeting will be held at the PWHS tiered room.
Parents and athletes should plan to attend.
Swim practice will take place at SSU following the meeting from 8:30-9:30pm.
Congratulations to senior Breanna Skaggs and junior Gary Jenkins for each winning a $250 scholarship at the UCAN Go To College night! Portsmouth West had the highest percentage(25%) of students attend out of all area schools. #WeAreWest
