Students and Families:
Please be sure to complete your digital forms through the districts FinalForms web page. It is important that that these be completed as soon as possible so that the school has accurate contact information for parents and students. These forms have replaced the typical paper forms your student would have received on the first day of school, such as emergency medical forms and handbook sign off forms. If you have questions about filling out FinalForms please contact the school.

Students: Are you looking to be a part of the community, build an impressive resume and be a part of something bigger? Key club is what you are looking for! Key club is a student-led group that meets monthly (weekly at first) to discuss ways we can help our community and make a positive impact on the lives of others. If you came to a pancake breakfast last year here at the high school in support of a student with cancer, that was hosted by Key club. We host activities for Elementary students, raise money to help different organizations and volunteer for a number of community organizations throughout the school year. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Mrs. Blevins and join us each Friday at 2:30 using the meet link

Just a reminder to students that classes will begin on Tuesday, September 8th. Students in Group A (Lett Terrace to US 52 at Careys Run and Portsmouth open enrolled) will report on September the 8th. Students in Group B (Careys Run to Buena Vista and all other open enrolled) will report on September 9th. Students should arrive at the gymnasium entrance between 7:35 to 7:55 and report directly to homeroom. Homeroom assignments are available on Final Forms. Home room assignments will also be posted at the gymnasium entrance and the main entrance of the high school on the first few days of school.

Reminder to HS Students:
Homecoming nomination forms have been sent to your @westsenators.org email address. Nominations close at 3:00 pm tomorrow. Please submit your nominations before then.

Due to the shortened nature of the 2020 High School Football season, homecoming will be held on Sept. 18th during the West v. Valley football game. Since this game occurs only ten days after the commencement of school, many aspects of this tradition will be modified in order to assure homecoming ceremonies occur.
One specific change which must occur are homecoming voting procedures. In an effort to ensure a fair and speedy election, especially with the hybrid/alternating school schedule, homecoming nominations must occur prior to the start of school. As a result on Tuesday September 1st, students will receive through their school issued @westsenators.org email address a link to a digital nomination form. The form will accept nominations from 8:00 am Tuesday September 1st to 3:00 pm on Thursday September 3rd. This form is a secure form and may only be submitted if a student is logged into their school issued email account and can only be submitted once. Please contact the high school at 740-858-1103 if you have issues logging into your account. CTC students will also receive a nomination form through their @westsenators.org email address.
Additionally, prior to the final vote, all participants/nominees will be required to attend an informational meeting through Google Meet on Friday September 4th at 11:00 am with Mrs. Linda Tieman. This meeting will be held to provide transparency to all potential participants as to what this year's homecoming will look like due to COVID-19 restrictions. Nominees will receive an invitation to the meeting through their @westsenators.org email address.
Upon the completion of the nomination process, the final vote will be conducted when students return to school on September 8th and 9th. Winners will be announced on Thursday September 10th.
We realize this process is different but we ask you to bear with us as we all try to navigate these strange and uncertain times. It is our hope to provide as much normalcy to the school year and school experience to our students in the face of the health issues we face today. Thank you for your patience and Go Senators!
