Varisty Volleyball Team

Saturday 22, the Lady Senators volleyball team defeated the South Point Pointers for a sectional championship. They will now advance to play Adena on Wednesday, 26 at 6 p.m.

Grand Champs

A few weekends ago, the Varsity Cheerleaders attended a cheerleading competition in Manchester, Ohio. They competed against three other teams in their division, and came out winning the division. They also won grand champs which means they beat every squad in every division. Congratulations girls!

Our 2016 Lady Senators Soccer Team finished their season with a 3-12 record for their regular season and a 1-1 record in tournament games. With a 6-2 win over Fairland and a 5-0 loss to Wheelersburg in tournaments, the overall record for the Lady Senators was 4-13. The team members all had a great season. Senior Emily Taylor finished her season with three hat tricks (which is when you score three goals in one game), and she had a total of 15 goals. Senior Lindsey Howard was the second top scorer with a total of 10 goals. Senior Josie Book and Junior Abbie Powell weren’t far behind with Josie having two goals and Abbie having three goals. Abbie was also the leading player for assists. All of the girls had a wonderful season and there was great improvement throughout. We are looking forward to next season and the opportunities for challenging competition.
