The Arts program at Portsmouth West is one of the finest in our area. Our band received a superior rating at OMEA State Competitions three times!!!. (2013, 2016, 2018.) Our Choir program has sung at many of the finest sports and musical venues in Ohio - Cleveland Cavaliers, Cincinnati Reds, and Portsmouth Wind Symphony! Our Fine Arts program has participated for years in the Memory Project where they honor young children who have been faced with neglect, abuse, loss of parents, and extreme poverty. These are just a few of many things our Art program here at PWHS has done for our community and our state. - Hunter Maynard
